Old Business:

Funds for the Handicap outing are low, we need to secure more sponsorship.  We need to discuss someone or a group to work with Brian this year to assume the responsibility of the outing for it to continue.  Remember everybody that positive PR like this outing is likely to continue to give us certain benefits such as the free meeting hall (saving the club close to $1000 per year).

Dues need to be collected and must be paid in full by the April meeting.  We need to drive to get observer into the club.  I will hand out flyers and at the Suffern show and have Terry put some at Franks.  Five of the guys got together to go to the Timonium Show and to Bass Pro Shops.  It was a blast.  There was also about a dozen people who got together in Newark to see the Devils game.  The next club trip will be to Cabelas on March 8th.  We will be receiving a 15% discount.  We discussed and voted on the idea to rescind the motion to remove 4th and 5th place payouts, it passed 17 to 2.

New Business:

Tonight is the Annual Swap Meet.  In the March meeting, Mastodon Tackle will be there with a booth open, they make jigs and jig heads.  The awards dinner was finalized to be at Biagio’s on November 14th.  We need a check for $300 for a deposit.  We have new Diawa rods and reels for raffle prizes.  Annual raffle is to be finalized this month.  It is likely to be the Yankee tickets.

Tournament Committee:

The classic has been moved to Lake George.  The dates have stayed the same.  Next month is the first draw for our first points tournament of the year at Candlewood Lake.  Remember, you will not be in the draw unless you are either at the meeting or have contacted a member of the board.
